This article tugs at my heart so much.  I would never want one of my puppies, or any dog that I know for that matter, to be in these circumstances.  Please!  Never let your family have an "Ernie".

    Tracy Van Niel

    My dogs and I participate in agility, earthdog, rally obedience, and conformation events. Additionally, both Reggie and Halo passed the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test and Halo has been certified as a therapy dog.  But most of all, my dogs are my housemates, companions, and bed warmers.
