Bee and I attended the 4-day Novi, MI cluster mid-January 2017 to work on Grand Championship points. This was our first show since attending the 4-day cluster in Columbus last November (2016) where Bee shined, receiving either Select Bitch or Best of Opposite Sex three of the four days and earning 14 points and three major wins. Bee had come into the November shows with 5 points already earned at shows after she received her AKC Championship so we started 2017 needing 6 single points.
At the Novi cluster, we ended up receiving Select Bitch only once for a 5 point major win. Adding that to the 19 points she had already accumulated, Bee left Michigan needing just 1 point to finish her AKC Grand Championship title. I am hopeful that we will be able to earn that final single point this year.
