It has been a while since we have gone to a conformation show, but out of curiosity, I looked at Canine Chronicle's yearly statistic page today to see if Arie was still listed. I was pleasantly surprised to see that Arie is still in the Top 20 standings for "All Breed Standings" (#17), "Breed Standings" (#15), and "AKC Grand Championship" (#15).
To earn points for All Breed and Breed Standings, a dog has to go Best of Breed to earn points (number of points based on number of dogs defeated). All Breed standings also include the number of dogs defeated for any Group placements.
For AKC Grand Championship, it is based on points earned by going either Best of Breed, Best of Opposite Sex, or Select Dog (number of points based on number of dogs defeated).
